Hello Numpty, did you ever get rid of your TY? I am looking for a few parts....

DMacleod is totally correct, you will be hooked;
I am an addict for Trialsin'. I am a junkie. The only cure for me and my addiction is more riding, and to change my bike out each 2 or 3 years. I swear/pledge, I will not stop sleeping eating shitting Trials. I just gottaride!!!!

There's a 2010 Sherco for 5500....that would be a nice bike, the price may be high for a starter...the more yea spend, the better the bike will be...

Hello Roger,

"I have only had my motorcycle license for 1 year, and mostly ride a KLR 650 if that is relevant."

Not to sound rude, but your KLR is the furthest thing from trials. has classified ads, and kijiji can be a good source for a used bike.  The KT250 is a vintage trials, and they are quite popular still today.
Used trial bikes do exist, but sometimes it takes a while for a (good) one to come around.  You may want to try posting an ad in kijiji, or in trials Canada, classified web site.
Keep in mind, buying used is always a gamble IMO.  But, generally Trials Riders take very good care of their bikes, I rebuild mine each winter to get it ready for the next season.  I usually will rebuild what ever needs before I sell my bikes, I don't want to promote a bad item.

Cheers, good luck....

Congrats Bouys, I'm really glad for the People, the Clubs, and the Sport. I just really wish I was there to attend, and even to participate. I really enjoyed doing events like this, and totally jealous of you's who were able to attend.

HELLO!!!!  Anybody else out there????  Does nobody have any other replies, comments, suggestions.....ideas....
If I could move down there to help set this up, along with all other events in the future...dang rite I would, if it was feasible...but it's not.  Our club is not very big, do we even have 50 members?  I realize some may be saying to themselves, let someone else step up, why always the same guys doing all the work....
I still say, good luck....hope this takes off (I have designed, planned and rode many demo, with only two weeks notice....)

When I first received the email, I responded quickly, stating I should be able to attend the Edmonton Show, as well pull a trailer with some props ( planks, logs, cable reels).  We (my Family) were planning a trip to California for the first week of January. As usual I have HIGH HOPES to attend this event, like all others.

Recently here I replied another email; stating Our Family trip to Cali is booked to fly out Jan 16,which apparently is the wkend for the show. The Calgary Show won't work for me, I would not want to commit for winter road conditions.
I understand the extensive organizing, commitment for planning an event, as I have in the past on similar events. It is very hard for one person to make this happen. I would really like to step up for that,  being up here is to far away.
I really hope this pulls through, as it's a great opportunity for the club, the event and the audience.
