Hi Peter,

Riding will start around 9, we will be there earlier to set up obstacles and such.  We're planning to ride for around 6 hours then we will hold the ATRA AGM, any member is welcome to attend!

Input was always welcome, however people chose not to respond. 


Demo is happening both at the Calgary & Edmonton show with a great varied list of riders. We will have a Beta as well as a brand new gasser on display in our booth courtesy of Roger @ Wetaskiwin Honda. We are hoping to have a TV playing trials videos as well.

Harold Pospisil will be doing the announcing of the demos, I felt he was a good fit due to having a wealth of trials knowledge as well as being comfortable speaking in front of crowds.

We have built four realistic looking logs with the biggest being roughly 40" for the experts. We've also built three boxes with plans to build a couple more as well as some small kickers and such. All of this has been built out of rough cut slabs. We feel as though this will separate our demo experience from the others due to the element of realism.

In the process of securing obstacles. Pretty much got a rider list nailed down. Things are looking good so far for the demos. Thanks to the people who have helped thus far.

 You can't reply to that email directly as it goes no where. That account doesn't technically "exist" other than being able to send emails out of it.

On November 1, 2014, Mountain Motorcycle Ltd will no longer be the importer/distributor for Betamotor S.p.A in Canada.
The new importer/distributor will be Beta Canada Inc, with Stephen Howland as president of the new company. We are pleased to have found such an enthusiastic and driven person as Stephen to take over as importer/distributor for Beta in Canada.
Mountain Motorcycle Ltd will continue on as the Beta dealer for the Lower Mainland of BC, and will assist Beta Canada Inc by providing technical assistance and parts knowledge ongoing.
2014 marked the thirty-first model year since Mountain Motorcycle Ltd began importing Beta motorcycles. It has been our great pleasure to have been the importer/distributor all these years.
Please note that nothing will change for our retail customers, it is business as usual.

The Cow Patty Trial is a go for Saturday & Sunday (July 12th & 13th)  at Byrnie's place north of Rocky Mountain House.

We will be on site Friday morning to finish setting up for those that wish to help. Start time is the usual 10AM.


Modern will be run both saturday & sunday in a two day event format. Vintage will be run saturday night after the modern trial.

-Camping is permitted and encouraged as it's a beautiful grassy area, very similar to Falun.
-There is a outhouse on site
-Sections are very spectator friendly all within walking distance and provide great entertainment.
