I would like to thank Mitch,Kelsey,Foordy,Tino,Robert,Wyatt,Ben,Doug,Craig,Carig and Mike for their time and enthusiasm, which created the amazing success we had with the Calgary and Edmonton shows. Well done to all of you!! We talked and showed off to a great many people over the past two weekends and had very positive feedback and interest in our sport. I am very proud of their dedication and donation of their time. We will get some pictures posted in the next few days and welcome feed back from all who attended.

General Discussion / Future of the ATRA
« on: October 27, 2014, 08:26:17 PM »
E-mails were sent out to our members asking for input on a very important opportunity for our club. We sent it this way so as not to involve those who it did not concern ( non members on our public forum ). A response was asked for and to date only one response has been given. I find this quite pathetic and uncaring on all of you. We have an eager and dynamic new president with lots of enthusiasm and energy which is getting depleted due to our members apathy. The club needed change and it was given and this is how you the members have participated and interacted with our future. When someone asks for help and input and no ideas or volunteers come forward you cannot criticize or comment on the outcome as it will not be welcome. I became very tired of making every decision for our members for these same reasons and then be accused of ramming my own agenda down peoples throats. What did you expect would happen and what do you expect will happen with your current lack of interest?
The challenge is given and now it is up to you to be part of a club with a future or a group of people who ride at the same time!!YES I HAVE HAD ENOUGH.

Events / 2014 WTC Trials Championships
« on: February 02, 2014, 08:34:52 PM »
From Outlaw Dave:
Quote
It is now confirmed that the WTC Western Canadian Championship will be held on the July long weekend at Revelstoke BC.        ( June 28/29)

This totally new area has incredible terrain for all aspects of motorcycling, plus a variety of other local attractions. - It will feature classes for all abilities, and with the Glacier House Resort in close proximity, plus camping facilities, it could be the best destination spot for everyone. -

We will be working in close collaboration with the Revvy Riders Club who are likely the most enthusiastic group to hit the Motorcycle scene in a long time, - they have huge support from the City of Revelstoke, and also the local Forestry Officials.

We have already scouted the area, and believe me, there is no limit to what we can put in to both challenge the Experts,    (Three Rock Quarries) - plus a spectator friendly location - many sections will be just a short hike from the Hotel.

Watch for more updates on this event, which could very well be the best thing to happen to Trials in Canada for a long time. ;D

Having rode there myself, I can attest to the awesomeness of this location! It's easily one of my favorite areas I've ever rode. I've also stayed at the glacier and it's awesome accommodations with a great lounge. It's also ride in ride out! This is definitely going to be a weekend you don't want to miss!
